How do I place an order?
You can begin by selecting a web design package.

Can I Host Adult Web Sites ?
No. You can not host any adult web site with your website. Please see our Terms of Usage Policy for more information.

What are your policies regarding SPAM from resold account by Reseller ?
TwoBuck.com does not allow any of its customers to send out SPAM.

Yes, we have several packages available for you to choose from. We can have your website up and running in as little as two weeks for as low as $249 (usd).

What is the average turn around time to design a website?
It takes about two weeks to create a custom website.

Do you use templates to design your websites?
No, we look at the needs and wants of each client and custom design their website based on this information. Please see our Web Design Questionaire for a sample of the types of questions we ask you, the client about your wants and needs.

How do I sign up?

How long does it take my site to be up and running?
Once you submit all the appropriate information to us, your account will be active within 24 hours . This may be longer depending on how long it takes for your dns to become active.

What else do I need to get started?
You need a domain name and a few webpages. After that, you have your own website! If you need a web site created, we can custom design a web site for as low as $249 (usd).

How often can I update my web site?
You have unlimited access to your site via FTP or FrontPage 24-hours a day. You can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your convenience. You can change and update your site as often as you want to.

Do I need FrontPage extensions?
If you are planning to design and publish your site using the Microsoft FrontPage package you will need FrontPage extensions installing on your account. We install FrontPage extensions by default. If you are using any other design package then you do not need FrontPage extensions.

How do I transfer files to my web site?
Files can be transferred to the web server using an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol). You can download a program for either the PC or Mac from our site. Cute FTP is a shareware FTP program, available from cuteftp.com .An FTP tutorial is available for first time users. Microsoft FrontPage users can 'publish' their sites to our server and should not use FTP.

Important things to remember when uploading your site
1. Be sure to call your home page "index.html".
2. Upload your files to your "/httpdocs" directory.
3. File names should be lower-case with no spaces.
4. Upload all related files (images, other pages, etc.).

I have problems sending or receiving email
Your email account is created on your control panel. It is a POP3 email account and needs to be configured in a program like Eudora or Outlook. The most common problem is that your email settings have not been configured correctly. Make sure that:
1. You use the proper mail servers. Incoming and outgoing (SMTP) mail servers should be mail.yourdomain.com, make sure that you check "My Server Requires Authentication".
2. If you're getting a login error, make sure you are entering the username or password correctly. They are case sensitive. If your email name on your control panel is "Info" and you enter "info", you will get an error.

I uploaded my site, but I still see the default index page.
When you upload your site, you must place your files in the "httpdocs" folder. If you have done this and you still see the default welcome page, then you have not named your home page or start page, index.html. Rename your home page index.html and it should work fine.

DOMAIN NAMES

What is a domain name?
Your domain name is your address on the internet. Actual internet locations are identified by an IP address, 212.87.43.22 for example - the network address of a computer connected to the internet. These numbers are translated into words - domain names - to make them easier to remember. All domain names are unique, as they refer to unique internet addresses.

What is allowed in a domain name?
The only characters allowed in a domain name are the 26 letters of the alphabet, numbers 0-9 and dashes (-). A domain cannot begin or end with a dash, but it can contain a dash. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) serves as the governing body for domain name registration. ICANN is currently allowing up to 63 characters, but we would recommend you stay below 20 characters. Domain name registration applications may be rejected for reasons other than the above, especially if they are perceived to infringe trademarks or copyright law.

How do I transfer my existing domain to your service.
A domain transfer is not necessary. All you will need to do is change the nameservers for your domain to the ones provided in your confirmation email.
